  1. This is a very sensitive topic isnt it Pauline? How do you students react to the film? Films are a great way of introducing students to topics and helping them to understand complex issues. Do you find this?

  2. I agree with you that this is a very sensitive subject, but I find that students do not take this seriously always. The day the students were very tired and disinterested, which is really sad! These days there are plenty of. One must constantly attract them, even though the students are there by choice.

  3. Keeping students motivated and engaged is a big challenge. I find that if one strategy does not work then I change to another. It is a big job being a teacher and you have to have a range of learning activities that you can use. Do you find this?

    1. I agree with you completely. It is a constant challenge. We as teachers do anything to arouse students' interest!

  4. What kind of teaching do you arrange after such a film?
    Do the studetns go out on practice where they meet older people suffering from dementia?

    1. I as a teacher is often conclude the lesson with a group discussion after the film. Many of our students have their practices with elderly patients suffering from dementia.

  5. Do you find that the teatchers use a lots of films out? I agree whit Ros that it can bee good for introdukting new subjekts. But i don´t show mutch films for my classes.
